Bud Jason has spent his entire over 40 year career in the beverage dispensing equipment business. With a background in dispensing cold beverages - soft drinks, beer, wine, liquor, and supplying ice making and dispensing equipment, he turned his attention to the specialty coffee business, seeing the need for expertise for espresso equipment. As one of the earliest US importers of FAEMA equipment dating back to 1980, he recognized that the profit from espresso and cappuccino was as important to the coffee shop and restaurateur as soft drinks were to the quick service restaurant. FAEMA was chosen as the preferred brand as it had earned its reputation throughout Europe as "The Professionals' Choice." Early on, service training was done at the factory in Italy. Not only was it important to have equipment on hand to meet the needs of these operations, it was critical to have sufficient repair parts and service capabilities to support the equipment.
